  Keith Nagy was hired as a subcontractor by Master Construction, LLC to install a retaining wall and driveway. Keith’s work looked good, but when I started having water problems and looked into the work more I found several problems that were hidden during construction. These include, not following the manufacturer’s instructions for building the retaining wall, not installing drainage aggregate behind the retaining wall and lying about it, using substandard geogrid to stabilize the retaining wall, using substandard drainage pipe under the driveway and crushing it during construction, and pouring the concrete driveway so it drains into the retaining wall instead of into the street. I was able to get him to fix portion of the driveway but once I paid the balance of the contract with the promise of fixing the rest of the problems I never heard from him again. I ended up taking Keith to court and winning and he was found liable for damages.
